For the 2025-2026 school year, the Foundation will be funding 76 classroom grants totaling over $158,800! These grants benefit students at all building levels starting with the Birth-to-3 Program and going all the way to seniors in high school. This program provides teachers with the opportunity to dream up innovative ideas to enrich students’ learning.

There are grants that are repeated each year such as intervention materials for math, reading, and speech, Flocabulary, speakers at all the middle schools, play scripts and materials at all middle schools, One School One Book at multiple schools, and more!

As the Elkhorn Public Schools District expands, the grants do as well! The Foundation has always helped with robotics at the high schools, and now the middle schools are also getting funding for their robotics clubs and to host competitions. Another area that continues to expand is the Birth-to-3 Program. In February 2024, the Toddler Room welcomed its first students at Hillrise Elementary. To help grow this program and foster the love of reading early in a students’ education, the Birth-to-3 Program received several grants: books for the classroom, books to be sent home with the students, and funds for a family activity.
