Scholarship Applications for Class 2024
The online scholarship application portal will be available December 1st – February 1st.
Tips for Scholarship Applicants:
•Applicants must be seniors currently attending an Elkhorn Public Schools high school (Elkhorn High, Elkhorn North, or Elkhorn South).
•Review the list of scholarships offered by school to determine which scholarships you meet the requirements and would like to apply for. You may refer to last year’s scholarship listing until the current year’s listing is available – https://webportalapp.com/portal/2023availablescholarships
•If there is a letter of recommendation requirement for the scholarship that you want to apply for, ask your recommender early in the process if they would write a recommendation for you. You will need your recommender’s name and email address to enter on the scholarship application.
•The link to our online scholarship applications will listed above when it’s available (December 1st).
•When creating an account for the scholarship platform, please use a unique, personal (non-school) email. Also, do not use an email that an older sibling used to apply for Foundation scholarships in a previous year!
•There are detailed instructions in the scholarship submission portal. Please read them and follow them carefully.
•The deadline to submit online scholarship applications is 5pm on February 1st.
•All applicants will be notified mid-April by email.
Scholarship winners will be recognized at the Foundation’s Scholarship Recognition Ceremonies held at each high school the last week of April. See “Important Dates” below.
Community Funded Scholarships
The Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation encourages students to continue their education after high school and has made a significant investment in building a robust scholarship program. Not only does the Foundation fund scholarships, but we have invested in technology, staffing, and a matching fund program to make it easy for donors to partner with us to provide additional opportunities for Elkhorn students.
Elkhorn North High School Added to Program
The Foundation has been focusing on adding Elkhorn North High School scholarships to our online scholarship platform. Our goal is to provide as many scholarship opportunities as possible to Elkhorn North seniors.
We are excited to announce that we finalized an agreement with an anonymous donor to provide a targeted incentive program to encourage new scholarships at Elkhorn North High School. The “Super-Charge ENHS Scholarship Incentive Program” incentivizes the creation of new scholarship funds by non-school related donors. To be eligible, the newly created scholarship fund must be dedicated to awarding an annual scholarship to an Elkhorn North High School student. These “Super-Charge Funds” are in addition to the Foundation’s existing matching funds program and will be available until the pool of funds is depleted.
If you are interested in sponsoring a scholarship for Elkhorn North High School students, please contact Genice Chochon at email@example.com. (Paperwork to establish new scholarships must to be finalized by October 1st in order to be offered to seniors graduating the following May).
ACHIEVE Scholarship Program
In 2015 the Foundation created an ACHIEVE Scholarship program to recognize and reward students who engage in academically rigorous coursework while maintaining balance in other areas of interest within our schools and community. Graduating seniors who achieve designated criteria and submit an application will receive an ACHIEVE Scholarship from the Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation.

Interested in Supporting our Scholarship Program?
Continued education for our students is imperative; our goal is to help students further their education by providing financial support. You can support the Foundation’s Scholarship Program by donating to our ACHIEVE Scholarship Program or establishing a new scholarship for Elkhorn students. Please note that paperwork to establish new scholarships must to be finalized by October 1st in order to be offered to seniors graduating the following May.
