Scholarship Recognition Ceremonies
Every year, the Foundation honors scholarship recipients at Scholarship Recognition Ceremonies held at each of the high schools the last week of April.
2023 Scholarship Recognition Ceremonies:
–Tuesday, April 25th, 2023 (Elkhorn North High School)
–Wednesday, April 26th, 2023 (Elkhorn High School)
–Thursday, April 27th, 2023 (Elkhorn South High School)
In 2023, the Foundation awarded $543,150 in scholarships to Elkhorn’s graduating seniors, recognizing their academic, athletic, and personal achievements.
Golf Fore Grants
Golf Fore Grants is a vital component to the success of our Classroom Grants Program which provides additional funding for Elkhorn’s kindergarten through high school classrooms. In the past, these grants have provided funding for additional innovative educational STEAM items such as ClearTouch interactive displays, coding activities, reading assistance programs, robotics equipment, and much more!
In June 2023, over $55K was raised during the event, making it an incredibly successful Golf Fore Grants fundraiser!
TEAM Campaign
TEAM Campaign is an annual fundraiser where Elkhorn Public Schools staff donate to the Foundation to help fund Classroom Grants, Scholarships, Teacher Tuition Reimbursement, and more.
During the 2022-2023 school year, EPS employees generously raised more than $60,000 in support of Foundation programs demonstrating that Together Everyone Achieves More!
Bids For Kids
Bids For Kids is an annual fundraiser that takes place every fall. Proceeds from this event fund Foundation programming, including the Math & Reading Clubs that take place in the Elkhorn District’s elementary schools before and after school. Formally known as “Math and Reading Intervention,” these clubs help students gain confidence through small group tutoring and improve their overall math and reading comprehension.
In September 2022, over $74K was raised during the event, making it the most successful Bids For Kids fundraiser to date!
Bids For Kids 2023 will take place on October 5th at Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation & Alumni Center. Additional details to follow.
Hall of Fame Reception
Every fall, the Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation honors Elkhorn teachers, staff, alumni, volunteers, and community businesses that have significantly impacted the Elkhorn Public Schools community and its students at its Hall of Fame Reception.
In October 2022, the Foundation and members of the Elkhorn community honored 8 Hall of Fame recipients.
Hall of Fame Reception 2023 will take place on Thursday, November 9th at the Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation Alumni Center. Additional details to follow.
