Stacey Falk is the Executive Director at the Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation. She oversees all of the Foundation’s business operations. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2012, Stacey worked at Union Pacific Railroad and has served on many non-profit committees in the Omaha metro community. Stacey currently serves on the boards of Nebraska Association of Public-School Foundations, Memories for Kids, and the Omaha Bridges Out of Poverty Steering Committee for Western Douglas County. Over the past years, Stacey and her team have introduced new programs and fundraising events, expanded the Scholarship and before and after school childcare program, and grown the Foundation’s donations and donor base. In 2018, they completed the construction of their new office space and the Elkhorn Alumni Center. Stacey and her husband, Kevin, have raised 3 sons who have all attended Elkhorn Public Schools.
EKC Program Director
Amy has been with the Foundation since 2008. Not only does she manage the Kids Campus program (EKC) and Alumni Center, she also sits on the Completely Kids board, as well as the Elkhorn Planning Region Team. When she is not at work, she loves spending quality time with her family. Amy and her husband Tait have three children, Trenton, Tyson, and Trace.
Accounting Manager & Scholarship Coordinator
Genice started with the Foundation in December 2011. Formerly a corporate tax manager in public accounting, she has applied that knowledge in a nonprofit capacity for the Foundation. Genice and her husband Mike enjoy living in Elkhorn, and all three of their kids have attended Elkhorn Public Schools.
Marketing & Development Manager
Melanie joined the Foundation in March of 2020. With an extensive background in small business and nonprofit marketing/communications, Melanie loves creative problem-solving. She looks forward to utilizing her talents in visual storytelling, design, and event management to help foster the community around the Foundation and improve its fundraising efforts. When she is not working, Melanie enjoys staying active hiking, running, biking, traveling, teaching yoga, and spending time with her family. Melanie is also an active volunteer of the Creative Mornings Omaha leadership team.
Carol joined the Foundation in December of 2012 as our Executive Assistant. She has lived in Omaha most of her life. Carol has a daughter, Elizabeth, who graduated from Millard West. In her free time, she likes to read, cook, and go on walks with her dog.
Kristina joined the Foundation in January 2019. She has an accounting background and was also a kindergarten paraprofessional during her three sons’ elementary years. Her primary role at the Foundation is working with scholarships but helps with other accounting functions as needed. Kristina and her husband, Chad, moved into the Elkhorn School District in 2015. Her oldest son graduated from Burke High School, her middle son was a 2019 ESHS graduate, and her youngest son will graduate from ESHS in 2023.
Special Events Coordinator
Susan joined the Foundation in November 2019. Susan brings more than 20 years of sales, planning, education, and customer care experience to the Foundation. Susan and her husband, Jason, have one son. Cole attends ESHS and will graduate in 2023.
Sara joined the Foundation in September of 2020 and manages the alumni program. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and has a background in event planning. She looks forward to connecting with Elkhorn alumni and growing the program at the Foundation. Sara is also the assistant tennis coach at Elkhorn South High School. She and her husband Barry have a son Brody that attends Valley View Middle School, and a daughter Reese who attends Blue Sage Elementary.
Becky started working at Elkhorn Kids Campus in 2006 as a site director before joining the Foundation office staff as an Assistant Program Director. She is also an active TeamMates Mentor. When she’s not working, she enjoys hanging out with her husband Chris, and her family.
