Stacey L. Falk

Executive Director

Stacey Falk is the Executive Director at the Elkhorn Public Schools Foundation. She oversees all of the Foundation’s business operations. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2012, Stacey worked at Union Pacific Railroad and has served on many non-profit committees in the Omaha metro community. Stacey currently serves on the boards of Nebraska Association of Public-School Foundations, Memories for Kids, and the Omaha Bridges Out of Poverty Steering Committee for Western Douglas County. Over the past years, Stacey and her team have introduced new programs and fundraising events, expanded the Scholarship and before and after school childcare program, and grown the Foundation’s donations and donor base. In 2018, they completed the construction of their new office space and the Elkhorn Alumni Center. Stacey and her husband, Kevin, have raised 3 sons who have all attended Elkhorn Public Schools.

Amy Whorlow

EKC Program Director

Amy has been with the Foundation since 2008 and manages the Kids Campus program (EKC) and Alumni Center. When she is not at work, she loves spending quality time with her family. Amy and her husband Tait have three children, Trenton, Tyson, and Trace.

Genice Chochon

Accounting & Scholarship Manager

Genice started with the Foundation in December 2011. Formerly a corporate tax manager at Ernst & Young, she has applied that knowledge in a nonprofit capacity for the Foundation. Genice and her husband Mike enjoy living in Elkhorn, and all three of their kids have graduated from Elkhorn South High School (2018, 2021, & 2023).

Carol Monnier

Executive Assistant

Carol joined the Foundation in December of 2012 as our Executive Assistant. She has lived in Omaha most of her life. Carol has a daughter, Elizabeth, who graduated from Millard West. In her free time, she likes to read, cook, and go on walks with her dog.


Kristina Werner

Scholarship Coordinator

Kristina joined the Foundation in January 2019. She has an accounting background and was also a kindergarten paraprofessional during her three sons’ elementary years. Her primary role at the Foundation is working with scholarships but helps with other accounting functions as needed. Kristina and her husband, Chad, moved into the Elkhorn School District in 2015. Her oldest son graduated from Burke High School, her middle son was a 2019 ESHS graduate, and her youngest son was a 2023 ESHS graduate.

Katherine Buth

Marketing and Development Manager

Katherine joined the Foundation in Spring 2023 after graduating with her Master’s in English from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Katherine and her husband, Logan, moved to Omaha in 2021 prior to her starting at UNO. Previously, she taught high school English in a rural Iowa town, and she also taught college writing classes while getting her master’s degree. She is beyond excited to combine her English and education background in her role as the Marketing and Development Manager. While Katherine isn’t working, she can be found spending time with her husband, walking her two dogs (Hattie and Ginny), voraciously reading, doing yoga, and meandering at the farmers market.

Kaylee Paulsen

Marketing and Events Coordinator

Kaylee joined the Foundation in Spring 2023 after graduating from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a major in Business Administration Marketing and minor in Graphic Design. She is from Iowa City, IA, but loves Omaha and is excited to now live and work in the Elkhorn community. Kaylee is passionate about nonprofits and feels lucky to be able to help students through the Foundation’s efforts. When she’s not working, you can find Kaylee by the pool, on the softball field, or playing with her niece and nephews.

Ann Huddleston

Alumni Relations
Ann joined the Foundation in the Fall of 2023, bringing with her a background in marketing, event coordinating, and sales. She has a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from Nebraska Wesleyan and an MBA from Creighton.  Being an Elkhorn native herself, Ann is excited to bring her expertise to support the Elkhorn Alumni community.  She and her husband Aron, have two children who currently attend Elkhorn Schools. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, baking, and sharing good food and wine.

Becky Hayworth

Assistant Program Director Elkhorn Kids Campus (EKC) 

Becky started working at Elkhorn Kids Campus in 2006 as a site director before joining the Foundation office staff as an Assistant Program Director. She is also an active TeamMates Mentor. When she’s not working, she enjoys hanging out with her husband Chris, and her family.

Maureen (Moe) Steward

Assistant Program Director Elkhorn Kids Campus (EKC)
Moe started working at Elkhorn Kids Campus in 2007. She worked at Spring Ridge as the site director for over six years before joining the Foundation office staff as an Assistant Program Director. Moe’s whole family has graduated from Elkhorn Schools and all still live in the area. When she’s not working she loves spending time with her 12 nieces and nephews.
