Scholarships Awarded

Scholarships totaling more than $116,000 honoring academic, athletic, and personal achievement were presented Tuesday, May 5 to 35 Elkhorn High School students at our scholarship recognition breakfast. More than 140 people attended the event.

While students and their families were invited to the ceremony, they did not know which scholarship they had received until the recipients were announced. Anticipation was high as students waited to learn which scholarship they had been awarded!

Scholarship sponsors were invited to attend the event to meet their recipients. After the ceremony, sponsors and their recipients shared stories, plans, and goals with one another.

The need for scholarship assistance is tremendous--and the difference a scholarship makes is much more than financial!Scholarships recognize hard work and dedication and provide a well-deserved "pat on the back" to dedicated students.
